WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE AN EMERGENCY CONTACT?
You have been selected as an emergency contact. When your contact triggers an alert, you will informed about it. This is a responsible task, because in an emergency you will receive information about the situation from your contact.
HOW LONG CAN I TRACK THE LOCATION?
The location transmission is explicitly programmed in such a way that it only starts when the alarm is triggered and stops a maximum of three hours after activation if the data transmission has not been stopped manually in the meantime.
HOW WILL I BE NOTIFIED IN AN EMERGENCY?
After the alarm has been triggered, you, as the emergency contact, will receive a text message on your mobile phone. In the SMS there will be a link that will give you the location of shows your contact .
DO I NEED TO INSTALL SOMETHING?
You, as an emergency contact, do not have to install an app or anything else. We deliberately opted for the safest option, with which you can reach anyone at any time: the good old text message.
HOW DO I BEHAVE AFTERWARDS?
Very important, keep calm!
You should follow these steps: ​
Check the location link in the SMS
Call your contact and ask if everything is ok
Get active if help is needed or your contact is not reachable
Either drive to the location yourself or inform an emergency call center
THE ALARM HAS BEEN DEACTIVATED?
Your contact can also deactivate the alarm again. When the alarm is stopped, you will receive another SMS saying that the situation has been resolved. It's best to make sure everything is ok anyway.
